Once the items are cleaned and free of oil and grease, simply place the items in the liquid and let it do the rest of the work.

To achieve the best result, it is recommended to make sure that the items are completely submergered with Evapo-Rust. If this is not possible, you may be forced to turn the item over a few times.


Evapo-Rust is extremely suitable for removing rust from fuel tanks. For example, a motorcycle tank can be filled with 1 Liter of Evapo-Rust after cleaning, and then turned every 8 - 12 hours to derust the entire inner surface.

If you forget to take the items out of Evapo-Rust after all rust is lifted off, the items will not be damaged, as the process stops as soon as all rust has been lifted from the item.

Evapo-Rust does not attack aluminum, zinc, brass, copper, tin, bakelite, plastic, vinyl, rubber, gaskets, glass and wood. Likewise, Evapo-Rust does not take paint either, except if the paint is pigmented with iron oxide.
